WOW Air has ceased Operations

Wow Air is the next candidate who seems to be liquidated. As of today they have ceased all of their Operations. Finding an Investigator was impossible over the last few months.

7th 777 for Lufthansa Cargo

Lufthansa Cargo has this week welcomed their 7th Boeing 777 to its new Base at Frankfurt Airport. It’s painted in the new Livery and has the Registration D-ALFG.

737 max – Update announced

Boeing has issued an upgrade to the MCAS (Manoeuvring Characteristics Augmentation System), a mechanism that has been linked to the crashes.

Boeing has redesigned the software so that it will disable MCAS if it receives conflicting data from its sensors.

As part of the upgrade, Boeing will install as standard a warning system which was previously an optional safety feature.

Boeing said airlines would not be charged extra for that safety system to be installed.

Announcing the package of upgrades, Boeing said a final version of the software would be submitted to the Federal Aviation Authority by the end of the week.

China to Order 300 Airbus

Airbus and China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS) signed a General Terms Agreement (GTA) covering the purchase by Chinese airlines of a total of 300 Airbus aircraft.

The GTA comprises of 290 A320 Family aircraft and 10 A350 XWB Family aircraft.

Vietnam’s Bamboo Airways to buy 50 Airbus A321neo planes

Bamboo Airways will buy 50 Airbus A321Neo planes, its chairman Trinh Van Quyet said on Thursday, as the Vietnamese carrier expands and begins international flights.

Quyet said the agreement includes the 24 planes covered by a memorandum of understanding signed with Airbus last March.

“We have chosen Airbus as the supplier of narrow-bodied planes, while using wide-bodied aircraft from Boeing,” Quyet said.

Airshow-Season starts off with Sun ‘n Fun

The Airshow-Season in the US is starting off this weekend with Sun ‘n Fun in Florida. The Blue Angels ar one of the Highlights of the Show. Just witach out for possible Watchpartys we will hold.
